Thank you to the cold temperatures for providing me with natural blush, to the wind for keeping my hair on the move, to the mountains for reminding me how wonderful this world is, to my skis for giving me the ability to fly, to the snow for falling down so that when I did it wouldn’t hurt so bad. Thank you Montana for always being a home I can come back to. Thank you Oregon for inviting me in to soon build another. Most of all, thank you God for always taking care of me. 🕊
I’ve always considered myself someone who “loves change”... someone who finds thrill and supernatural excitement in pursuing the unknown. Yet, I’m finding that change can also really hurt. For change breaks away the expectations I once held on my future, along with the hope which goes with it. Change defeats the way I projected my steps to go. At the same time, change creates more opportunity for growth; as it initiates the time, the space, and the discomfort I need to rebuild my life... in ways I wouldn’t have known before. Change continues to keep me on my toes, it reminds me that I don’t have compete control. Change enhances my faith. Change keeps me going, while also reminding me to pause to enjoy the gifts of today... because tomorrow they may just evolve into more change.
